Ageing shouldn't mean surrendering to the grey and clinical. Seniors hold real spending power, yet the market keeps handing them mass-produced mobility products that ignore who they are. ooak and Semper Semper partnered with HOOF to radically reinvent senior living through beautifully considered, sustainable products and services, starting with their flagship modular walking stick, The Uno.
The brief was to build a brand for living well in later years, one that champions independence, connection and joy. The company's original name, One of a Kind, was shortened to the acronym ooak (pronounced 'oak'), borrowing from the tree's resilience and grace. Working from the central idea of freedom from grey, we built a visual identity so older generations never have to shrink into invisibility.
